The first of our series of spring seminars took place on 18th February at NH Marbella. Guests were given a clear explanation of the benefits of Qrops together with a warning of some of the pitfalls of investing into these schemes through less favourable jurisdictions which could well fall foul of HMRC in the same way that Singapore has. In addition there was a presentation on how effective the use of a simple tax wrapper can be in deferring tax for residents of Spain.
There followed a lively question and answer session with some interesting debate and clearly if this seminar is anything to go by there is a strong demand for sound professional advice in both of these areas of financial planning.
