Has your financial adviser left you in a financial mess – run away and left you orphaned?

20 December 2018

Have you lost contact with your financial adviser because the firm is no longer trading, the adviser has left the industry or simply run away after giving bad advice? Perhaps you no longer have any contact with your financial planner because you are unhappy with the financial advice and service.

If you have pension or financial assets which are unmanaged as a result of being orphaned your assets could potentially be inefficiently structured from a tax perspective exposing you to a massive tax liability. Your investments might also be mismanaged and you have no notion about risk and return and how to mitigate risk within your portfolio. Whatever the issue is; being without a properly regulated professional financial adviser in an ever changing financial landscape makes no sense and carries some risks.
